4 Step Phonics features a comprehensive curriculum comprising 62 video lessons and 1,240 quizzes, organized into four distinct steps:
- Step 1: Alphabet and Single Letter Sounds – 12 Video Lessons & 240 Quizzes
- Step 2: Short Vowel Sounds – 14 Video Lessons & 280 Quizzes
- Step 3: Long Vowel Sounds – 19 Video Lessons & 380 Quizzes
- Step 4: Two Letter Consonants – 17 Video Lessons & 340 Quizzes
Children progress through the lessons in a systematic order:
- Select a lesson.
- Watch a corresponding video, which can be accessed through embedded links to the LucyMax YouTube Channel.
- Complete quizzes tailored to the content of the video.
- Review the quiz score for feedback.
An effective motivational tip includes rewarding children when they reach specific score milestones, such as achieving 1,000 points, which can enhance their engagement and learning experience.
